报告摘要：

An elliptic curve is a smooth projective genus one curve endowed with a rational point. The study of its arithmetic has a long history and remains an active area in number theory. L-functions play a fundamental role, core problems include the BSD conjecture and the Goldfeld conjecture.

专家简介：

     田野， 中国科学院数学与系统科学院研究员， 中国科学院院士。2003年在美国哥伦比亚大学获得博士学位。主要研究领域是数论。田野研究员曾获国家杰出青年基金。 并先后获得IMU与ICTP联合颁发的拉马努金奖，世界华人数学家大会晨兴数学金奖，国家自然科学奖二等奖， 中国数学会陈省身奖。田野研究员曾应邀在2022年国际数学家大会做45分钟报告。
