Abstract：Given an inhomogeneous linear differential equation on a domain, it is a standard method to solve it using Green's function. This also works for solving Poisson's equation on a Riemannian manifold. When the domain is furthermore a moduli space, then special values of Green's functions could have arithmetic applications. In this talk, we will consider the case where the domain is the moduli space of isomorphism classes of elliptic curves over the complex numbers, and give some recent results about special values of Green's functions.
