Abstract:Differential equations with impulses
arise when describing evolving processes that undergo sudden changes, such as
shocks, harvesting, and natural disasters. These equations are extensively used
in modeling impulsive issues in diverse fields such as physics, population
dynamics, ecology, biotechnology, industrial robotics, pharmacokinetics, and
optimal control. This talk will introduce three impulsive population growth
models, specifically addressing HIV treatment, pest control, and COVID-19
community testing. The discussion will primarily concentrate on the modeling
procedure and mathematical analysis through the aspects of periodic dynamical
systems.
