Abstract:In this talk, I shall recall the explicit construction of invariant strongly convex complex Finsler metrics on the unit polydisk in and give characterizations of invariant strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler metrics on the irreducible bounded symmetric domains of type resp. the complex Grassmannian manifold in the compact case) of rank 2. These are nontrivial examples of symmetric complex Finsler manifolds found so far in literature.
